Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with SAP technologies, and a strong understanding of cloud-native service design. Your technical expertise includes working with Azure and Kubernetes, and you are familiar with AI and machine learning concepts that drive intelligent automation. You thrive in collaborative environments, bringing both technical strength and business acumen to your projects. You are passionate about solving real-world problems and have a track record of delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

You possess a deep understanding of DevOps practices and have experience implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes. Your ability to leverage modern observability tools ensures that you can monitor and optimize system performance effectively. You are committed to continuous learning and mentorship, eager to grow your career in a diverse and inclusive community.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale systems and a background in digital transformation will set you apart. Familiarity with predictive analytics and intelligent automation will enhance your contributions to the HR Employee Experience team. You are adaptable and open to exploring new technologies that can improve employee experiences at Microsoft.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement cloud-native services that elevate employee productivity and experience at Microsoft. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn bold ideas into transformational solutions, embedding intelligent automation and predictive analytics into every product. Your role will involve leveraging SAP BTP and Azure to build scalable applications that meet the needs of Microsoft’s internal workforce.

You will operate in an agile environment, delivering high-quality solutions on a predictable schedule. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that your services are reliable and performant. You will also engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Your work will directly impact how Microsoft teams operate, making their workflows smarter and more efficient. You will be part of a diverse community of engineers, collaborating to solve complex challenges and drive digital transformation across the organization.

What we offer

At Microsoft, you will have access to mentorship and continuous learning programs that support your career growth. We provide clear pathways to technical leadership or product ownership, ensuring that you can advance your career in a direction that aligns with your goals. You will be part of a culture that values diversity and inclusion, where collaboration and innovation are at the forefront of our mission.

Join us in shaping the future of work by designing solutions that empower employees and enhance their experiences. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value curiosity and a growth mindset just as much as technical skills.
