Stripe is seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Terminal team to enhance in-person payment capabilities. You'll work on APIs and user experiences to streamline payment processes. This role requires strong communication skills and a track record in payment product development.
You have a proven track record of success in product management, particularly in the payments domain, with at least 5 years of experience. Your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly makes you an effective collaborator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in environments where you can toggle between high-level strategy and detailed execution, ensuring that product goals align with user needs and business objectives.
Your experience includes working with APIs and developer products, where you've successfully delivered features that enhance user experiences. You understand the nuances of in-person payments and can navigate the challenges that come with integrating these capabilities into existing systems. You are detail-oriented and have a strong execution track record, which has led to the successful launch of payment products in the past.
Experience in the in-person payments space is a plus, as it will help you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this area. Familiarity with payment processing systems and fraud reduction strategies will also be beneficial in this role.
As a Senior Product Manager at Stripe, you will own the platform responsible for powering in-person payments. Your mission will be to make it as seamless for businesses to accept in-person payments as it is for them to use the Stripe API for online transactions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap and prioritize features that enhance the user experience.
You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing user feedback to inform product decisions, ensuring that the features you develop meet the needs of both developers and merchants. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering teams to design and implement APIs that are robust and user-friendly, while also considering the security aspects of payment processing.
In addition to product development, you will engage in stakeholder management, ensuring that all parties are aligned on product goals and timelines. You will also be involved in A/B testing and metrics definition to measure the success of new features and iterate based on user data.
