Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and bring over 5 years of financial analysis experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Your analytical skills are complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that financial insights drive strategic decision-making. You thrive in a hands-on setting, where your contributions directly impact the organization’s financial performance. You are adept at developing and maintaining financial models that support business decisions and capital investments, and you have a keen eye for identifying opportunities for process improvements and financial efficiencies.

Desirable

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes is a plus. Familiarity with product costing, labor, overhead, and standard cost variances will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable preparing executive-level dashboards and presentations that convey actionable insights to leadership. Your ability to mentor junior analysts and support audits while ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies will be invaluable to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will lead monthly and quarterly financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and management reporting. You will partner closely with operations and production teams to analyze costs, margins, inventory, and manufacturing efficiencies. Your role will involve developing and maintaining financial models that support business decisions and capital investments, ensuring that the organization is well-positioned for growth. You will assist with month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations as needed. Additionally, you will prepare executive-level dashboards and presentations that provide actionable insights to leadership, helping to guide strategic initiatives.

You will identify opportunities for process improvements and financial efficiencies, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you work to support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. Mentoring junior analysts will also be a key aspect of your role, as you share your expertise and help develop the next generation of financial professionals within the company.

What we offer

GHJ provides a full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, with the company covering 50% of premiums. You will benefit from a 3% 401(k) match, two weeks of vacation, one week of sick leave, and ten paid holidays. The company fosters a friendly and collaborative work environment, offering opportunities for advancement and professional growth. You will also enjoy company-sponsored holiday parties and team events, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
