You have extensive experience in strategic finance, ideally with a focus on technology or product-driven organizations. Your background includes a strong understanding of financial performance metrics, revenue forecasting, and analytics. You excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in Product and Engineering, to align financial objectives with product strategies. You are adept at driving strategic decision-making and possess a keen ability to balance growth with cost efficiency as platforms scale. Your leadership skills enable you to guide teams through complex financial planning processes, ensuring clarity and alignment across the organization.
Experience in the payments industry or with financial technology products is a plus. Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis tools will enhance your ability to contribute effectively in this role. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can adapt to the fast-evolving landscape of technology and finance. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to driving impactful outcomes are essential traits you bring to the table.
In this role, you will serve as the primary finance partner for the Payments and Integrity organizations, directly influencing the financial strategy of OpenAI's products. You will oversee the financial performance of the payments and platform fees line item on the P&L, conducting forecasting and variance analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include leading quarterly planning sessions, driving strategic decision-making, and optimizing investment decisions to accelerate growth. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that financial insights inform product development and strategy. As the platform scales, you will balance growth initiatives with cost efficiency, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively for maximum impact.
