Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript. You have spent at least 5 years in a technical leadership role, guiding teams through complex projects and ensuring high-quality code. Your experience includes 5 years in a people management or team leadership role, where you have developed your skills in mentoring and optimizing team performance. A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred, as is experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. You understand the importance of balancing technical expertise with effective team management, and you thrive in environments that challenge your leadership abilities.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google, you will lead a team of exceptional software engineers, providing both technical leadership and guidance on major projects.
