Angi is seeking a Temporary Senior Analyst (Indirect Tax) to manage US Sales and Use Tax compliance. You'll prepare and review tax returns and coordinate with third-party service providers. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA or Master's degree in Accounting or Tax.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and ideally hold a CPA or a Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax. Your experience includes managing tax compliance functions, particularly in the area of Sales and Use Tax across multiple jurisdictions. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance processes. Your familiarity with tax software such as Vertex, Avalara, or Netsuite is a plus, and you are comfortable working with third-party service providers to ensure timely and accurate tax filings. You value diversity and understand that different perspectives lead to better solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the daily US Sales and Use Tax function. You will prepare and review monthly and quarterly US Sales and Use Tax returns across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will manage a detailed tax filing calendar to meet jurisdictional deadlines and coordinate with third-party service providers for data exchange and review of prepared returns. Your role will also involve owning monthly tax accounting and reconciliation, as well as actively participating in system testing and audit support. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that all tax-related processes are efficient and compliant.
