Your expertise includes embedding security practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a fundamental aspect of product development. You are familiar with industry standards and frameworks, particularly OWASP, and understand how to apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment. You possess strong leadership skills, enabling you to guide teams in adopting security best practices and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization. You are a strategic thinker who can align security initiatives with business goals, ensuring that security measures support the overall mission of the company. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product and engineering teams to identify and mitigate security risks while maintaining a focus on innovation and efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with security tooling and processes that enhance application security at scale is a plus. Familiarity with compliance requirements and risk management practices will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As the Director of Application Security, you will be responsible for establishing and leading Kaseya's Application Security program. You will work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to integrate security into the development lifecycle, ensuring that security considerations are embedded from the initial design phase through to deployment. You will assess existing security practices and identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies that enhance the security posture of Kaseya's applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine security policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices. You will also lead initiatives to educate and train teams on security awareness and best practices, fostering a culture of security throughout the organization. Additionally, you will monitor and respond to emerging security threats, ensuring that Kaseya's applications remain secure against evolving risks.
