Overview

CleanSpark is seeking a Corporate Counsel – Real Estate to support their growth in site acquisitions and land development. You'll provide legal support for high-value real estate transactions and work closely with business teams. This role requires 3-5 years of commercial real estate experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a talented and motivated Real Estate Attorney with at least 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy advising on high-value real estate transactions and development. Your experience allows you to work closely with business teams to drive projects from concept through completion. You have a strong understanding of property acquisitions, site due diligence, entitlements, land use, permitting, zoning, title/survey review, commercial leasing, easements, and development agreements. You are comfortable coordinating with external counsel and contractors as needed for each project and providing regular status updates. You are eager to influence strategic decisions at a high-growth company and are ready to take on substantial responsibility and autonomy.

Desirable

Experience in the energy sector or with infrastructure projects would be a plus. Familiarity with zoning laws and regulations in Nevada is also beneficial. You have excellent communication skills and can effectively interact with various stakeholders, including the General Counsel and leadership team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide hands-on legal support for property acquisitions and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will conduct thorough site due diligence and assist in obtaining necessary entitlements and permits for land development. You will review and negotiate commercial leases, easements, and development agreements, ensuring that all transactions align with the company's strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with business teams to drive projects from concept through completion, providing legal insights that help shape decision-making processes. You will also coordinate with external counsel and contractors as needed, ensuring that all legal aspects of projects are managed effectively. Regular travel may be required, but this can be discussed based on project needs.

What we offer

CleanSpark offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on the company's growth. You will have the opportunity to work on high-value real estate transactions and development projects that are crucial to the company's success. We value our employees and provide a supportive culture that encourages professional growth and development. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to optimizing our infrastructure and delivering superior returns to our shareholders. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in the potential of our team members to grow and succeed.
