Enviva is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to manage the logistical movement of raw and finished production. You'll operate heavy industrial equipment and ensure safety and quality standards are met. This role requires internal company certification and the ability to follow job instructions.
You are a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to safety and quality in the workplace. You understand the importance of following standard operating procedures and are capable of operating heavy industrial equipment such as Front-End Loaders and caterpillar forest machines. You have the ability to inspect equipment and report any issues to ensure a safe working environment. You are detail-oriented and proficient in maintaining proper paperwork related to your operations. You are willing to perform daily checks and basic maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working order.
As a Mobile Equipment Operator at Enviva, you will be responsible for the logistical movement of raw and finished production through the operational process on assigned shifts. You will operate heavy industrial equipment to unload log trucks and load logs into production equipment and storage areas. Your role will involve monitoring and adjusting operating parameters in the wood yard control room to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets. You will also perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area and ensure compliance with company standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the production process.
