Staff Software Engineer (Money Platform)

You have over 7 years of experience delivering value through software in collaborative environments, including roles where you've acted as a tech lead. Your background includes architecting and implementing complex backend systems that are scalable and efficient. You are comfortable working with various teams to ensure that the backend services you develop meet the needs of the business and its users.

Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to build robust applications that handle real-time financial transactions. You understand the intricacies of REST APIs and have experience in designing them to ensure seamless integration with other services. What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer at Earnin, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our backend services. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create solutions that provide real-time financial flexibility for our users. Your responsibilities will include architecting new features, optimizing existing services, and ensuring that our systems are reliable and scalable.

You will lead technical discussions and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team. Your role will involve code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development process. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless experience for our users.
