Senior Studio Manager - Tokyo
We are re looking for a Senior Studio leader to lead our Tokyo visual content production studio, part of our global network of innovation hubs.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead a talented team of photographers, stylists, and creative professionals
- Drive innovation in visual content creation, while aligning retail teams on value and deployment.
- Collaborate with creative leaders across global markets
- Balance Japanese market needs with international best practices
- Pioneer new approaches to visual storytelling that resonate across cultures
What You Bring to the Table
- 8+ years of creative leadership experience, preferably in e-commerce, content operations or retail
- Track record of scaling creative operations while maintaining excellence
- Strong portfolio of cross-cultural team leadership
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships in Japan and North America
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English

You will split your time between strategic leadership and hands-on operational guidance, working with creative teams, operations managers, and global stakeholders. Typical activities include:
- Leading creative reviews and strategy sessions
- Analyzing performance metrics and developing improvement plans
- Collaborating with international peers on best practices
- Mentoring team members and driving talent development
- Engaging with stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables
About the team
Our visual content production studios are at the forefront of redefining online shopping experiences through innovative visual storytelling and novel technology. We operate a network of state-of-the-art studios staffed by world-class creative talent, working together to set new standards in digital content creation.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong command of English and Japanese, both written and verbal.
- 8+ years of professional experience in creative operations, content production, or related field
- 4+ years of people management experience leading diverse and cross functional teams
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and resources
- Track record of leading large-scale creative or production operations
- Demonstrated experience in senior stakeholder management across multiple business units
- Experience in international or multi-cultural environments
- Track record of driving technological innovation; Knowledge of strategic and practical application of Gen-AI.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership
- Experience in digital content creation and e-commerce
