About the Opportunity

At Bitvavo, we are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic User Experience team. As a champion of user-centered design, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling experiences across our Retail Trading vertical.

We need a strong problem solver, someone who can create powerful yet simple solutions that enhance user interactions. You will collaborate with a large cross-functional team, helping to shape the product strategy and helping us strengthen our position as market leaders in Europe.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives across mobile and web, ensuring high-quality, consistent user experiences
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional peers to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Driving discovery in your product team, gathering feedback, validating assumptions, and refining designs with data-backed insights and working closely with the Researchers
• Tackle open-ended challenges, working across large scopes while managing multiple projects and stakeholders
• Communicate solutions effectively using low- and high-fidelity designs
• Stay ahead of design trends, industry best practices, and trading experiences to drive innovation
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture within your team providing constructive feedback and enabling a good work environment to engage creativity.

What We Look For

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a portfolio showcasing complex mobile and web platforms
• Proven experience in trading, banking or crypto is mandatory for this role
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture
• A scalable design process, demonstrated through strong case studies
• Experience designing applications used by millions of users
• Highly developed skills to create refined and visually compelling interactive experiences that strike the right balance between user needs and functionality, ensuring seamless and intuitive user interactions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, agile environment
• Experience validating and measuring impact by leveraging data-driven insights, making informed decisions, and continuously iterating to drive measurable results
