Shift4 is hiring a Senior Onsite POS Installer to integrate Point-of-Sale systems at merchant locations. You'll be responsible for installations, troubleshooting, and client training. This role requires technical expertise and local travel within 200 miles.
You have a strong technical background with experience in installing and configuring Point-of-Sale (POS) systems. You are skilled in troubleshooting network and cabling issues, ensuring that installations are completed efficiently and effectively. Your ability to communicate clearly with clients and provide training on the POS ecosystem is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction. You are comfortable working independently and are proactive in managing your time and tasks. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to documenting your work thoroughly. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus, enhancing your ability to assist a diverse clientele.
As a Senior Onsite POS Installer, you will be responsible for the complete integration of POS systems and peripherals at various merchant locations. This includes conducting site surveys, performing installations, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process. You will test hardware and software, ensuring that credit card processing functions smoothly with minimal remote support. Your role will also involve providing comprehensive training to merchants on the POS systems, ensuring they are comfortable and satisfied with the setup.
