Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the Financial Services Industry for Google Cloud. You'll leverage your extensive experience in cloud sales and account management to drive growth and manage cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong background in financial services and leadership skills.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your leadership experience includes people management, team lead roles, mentorship, or coaching, showcasing your ability to guide and develop others. You have a strong background in financial services, particularly in banking or insurance, and have spent at least 5 years working specifically with Financial Services clients. Your experience includes managing cross-functional internal teams and external partners in implementation projects and agreements, demonstrating your ability to collaborate effectively across various stakeholders.
You are adept at driving growth of cloud technologies within the Banking and Insurance industries, and you possess the ability to manage business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations. Your strategic mindset allows you to deliver on results, ensuring that your team meets and exceeds sales targets. You are passionate about technology and its potential to transform businesses, and you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you can make a significant impact.
Experience in managing and leading a team selling into the FSI vertical is a plus, as is a proven track record of success in driving sales growth in competitive markets. You are comfortable with data analysis and forecasting, which helps you make informed decisions and present accurate business performance reports. Your ability to travel and present at customer meetings, conferences, and other related events showcases your commitment to representing Google Cloud and advocating for its products and customers.
In this role, you will play a key part in understanding the needs of Google Cloud customers and shaping new opportunities throughout the entire business cycle. You will represent your territory in business planning, town halls, and team meetings, ensuring that you provide accurate and timely forecasting and business performance updates. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of sales professionals, mentoring them to achieve their goals while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development and Partner Sales, to drive successful implementation projects and agreements. Your role will require you to engage with clients in the Financial Services sector, helping them understand the benefits of Google Cloud technologies and how they can transform their operations. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives of Google Cloud, ensuring that your team meets its sales targets and contributes to the company's growth.
You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape, using this knowledge to refine your sales approach and identify new opportunities for growth. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in building strong relationships with clients and partners. You will act as an advocate for Google Cloud, representing the company at various events and conferences, and ensuring that our products and services are well-received in the market.
