Kpler is seeking an Account Executive – Maritime to drive new business in the maritime sector. You'll manage the full sales lifecycle and engage with clients across North America. This role requires strong outbound sales skills and the ability to navigate complex sales environments.
You are a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record in new business development. With at least 5 years of experience in sales, you have successfully navigated complex sales cycles and have a deep understanding of the maritime sector. You possess exceptional commercial judgment, knowing when to push for a deal and when to walk away. You are disciplined, self-directed, and thrive under pressure, consistently performing at or above quota. Your competitive nature drives you to achieve growth and impact in your role, and you are comfortable creating a pipeline from scratch without relying on brand dependency.
Experience in the commodities or energy sectors would be a plus, as well as familiarity with hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and trading desks. You are adept at running executive-level discovery sessions and can position Kpler as a mission-critical data platform. You have a strong outbound motion and are skilled at building and maintaining an active pipeline.
In this role, you will take full ownership of the new business lifecycle, from cold prospecting to closing deals. You will build and maintain a deep, active pipeline across various sectors, including hedge funds and trading desks. Your responsibilities will include running executive-level discovery sessions to position Kpler as an essential data platform. You will lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technical buyers, ensuring that you forecast with precision and manage your pipeline with rigor and transparency. You will consistently strive to perform at or above quota while raising the commercial bar across the team.
