Pathward is seeking a Director of Data Governance to define and implement data governance strategies across the organization. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership to enhance data capabilities and promote financial inclusion.
You have a strong background in data governance and have spent several years leading initiatives that enhance data quality and accessibility. Your experience includes developing methodologies and processes that support organizational goals, and you are adept at collaborating with various stakeholders to drive strategic data programs. You understand the importance of data governance in promoting financial inclusion and are passionate about creating opportunities for all.
Experience in the financial services sector is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data governance. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and have a proven track record of operationalizing data governance frameworks that align with business objectives.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and championing data governance methodologies that support the growth of Pathward. You will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to develop a comprehensive data governance strategy and roadmap. Your responsibilities will include facilitating and promoting programs that enhance data quality, security, and compliance across the organization. You will also be tasked with establishing metrics to measure the effectiveness of data governance initiatives and communicating these results to stakeholders.
You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure that data governance practices are integrated into the organization's culture. This includes training and mentoring team members on data governance principles and best practices. You will also be involved in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the data governance framework, ensuring that Pathward remains at the forefront of financial empowerment.
