Who you are

You have a strong background in robotics design engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise includes proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, allowing you to create detailed designs and models for complex systems. You are skilled in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, which you use to develop and implement control algorithms for robotic systems. Your experience with Embedded Linux and MATLAB enables you to work on both hardware and software aspects of robotics projects. You thrive in collaborative environments, where you can engage with cross-functional teams to solve challenging engineering problems. You are passionate about innovation and eager to contribute to groundbreaking projects in aerospace technology.

Desirable

Experience with additive manufacturing processes is a plus, as it aligns with Relativity's pioneering work in 3D-printed rockets. Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulations will help you navigate the complexities of the industry. What you'll do

As a Senior Robotics Design Engineer at Relativity, you will play a crucial role in the development of the Terran R rocket. Your primary responsibility will be to design and optimize robotic systems that contribute to the manufacturing and assembly processes. You will collaborate closely with propulsion, manufacturing, and software teams to ensure that all systems work seamlessly together. Your work will involve creating detailed design specifications, conducting simulations, and performing testing to validate your designs. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet quality standards.
