Google is seeking a Senior Associate in Strategy and Operations for their Ads team to lead cross-functional projects and drive product strategy. This role requires strong communication and program management skills, with a background in management consulting or business strategy.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory. Alternatively, you may have 2 years of experience with an advanced degree. Your background includes experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment. You excel at managing relationships and working cross-functionally within global organizations, demonstrating an understanding of GBO and its business channels and teams. You possess the ability to articulate the big picture to executive teams while maintaining excellent attention to execution details. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling teams to move with greater speed and efficiency towards significant outcomes. You have excellent program management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously that span Alphabet’s different divisions.
As a member of the Ads Strategist team, you will ensure Google delivers the highest performing ads products to its advertisers. You will lead cross-Ads and Global Business Organization (GBO) projects with full autonomy, accelerating Google’s product to market cycle and driving greater product portfolio strategy. Your role will involve influencing product executives’ decision-making and holding teams accountable for product performance outcomes amidst competing VP-level priorities. You will closely partner with leaders from Ads, GTM, PSA, gTech, Finance, and other teams to scope, manage, and execute projects effectively. Delivering insights from quantitative and qualitative data analysis will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you communicate key findings to leadership through executive-ready presentations. You will program manage efforts on behalf of stakeholders, ensuring alignment and execution across various teams.
