Overview

Google is seeking a Treasury Analyst to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with banking regulations. You'll work with financial modeling and treasury systems in Bengaluru. This role requires 4 years of experience in treasury or finance operations.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience, and at least 4 years of experience in Treasury, payments, or finance operations. Your familiarity with Indian banking systems and regulations sets you apart, and you possess excellent communication skills that enable you to discuss issues and resolutions in cross-functional groups. You understand how treasury systems support business processes and have experience in financial modeling, which is crucial for this role.

Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while focusing on details allows you to find creative solutions to big-picture challenges. You are adept at collaborating with various teams, ensuring that financial decisions align with the company's strategic goals. An MBA is preferred, but your practical experience is what truly counts.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the New Business Treasury Implementations (NBTI) team, which focuses on enabling efficient money movements for Alphabet. You will collaborate with Product Areas and Payments to design and implement strategies that align with treasury best practices. Your responsibilities will include product enablement, structuring fund flows, and supporting geographical expansion efforts.

You will design banking infrastructure and implement risk and control measures to ensure compliance and mitigate payment processor risks. Managing Treasury work streams for the operationalization and implementation of new product and feature launches will be a key part of your role, including process creation, enhancement, and automation efforts.

Additionally, you will review banking documents, processes, and systems while maintaining local banking relationships. Preparing and analyzing daily cash positions to ensure adequate cash and liquidity will be part of your daily tasks. You will provide operational support for executing wire transfers, managing fraud filter activity, releasing payments, and troubleshooting payment failures. Your analytical skills will be essential in tracking performance metrics and modeling business scenarios to support sound financial decisions.

What we offer

At Google, you will be part of a team that values collaboration and innovation. You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape the financial landscape of the company. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse teams build better products. Join us in Bengaluru and contribute to our mission of making sound financial decisions that drive the company forward.
