Rubrik is hiring a Data Engineer II to optimize their enterprise SaaS business by building and maintaining core data infrastructure for renewal and churn analytics. You'll work with SQL and ETL processes to provide insights that influence retention strategies.
You have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong foundation in building and maintaining data pipelines that support business analytics. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with ETL processes, enabling you to transform raw data into actionable insights. You are passionate about data-driven decision-making and understand the importance of data quality and reliability in driving business growth. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that empower them.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with machine learning concepts. You have a keen interest in automation and are always looking for ways to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows that provide reliable, high-quality data for churn analysis and renewal forecasting. You will write complex SQL queries and develop efficient data models to support advanced analytics and reporting. Collaborating with sales, finance, and renewals teams, you will provide insights that directly influence retention strategies and business growth.
