You are eager to build the foundation of your software engineering career through hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. You have a passion for software development and a desire to learn from experienced engineers. As a Junior Software Development Engineer, you will be fully integrated into a team where you will write real software and collaborate with experienced engineers. You will participate in the Junior Developer Program (JDP), which is designed to provide you with the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges at Amazon. Your contributions will be meaningful, and you will have the chance to take ownership of your work. The program offers flexible part-time schedules during the school year, allowing you to work 16 hours per week, and full-time employment over the summer, where you will work 40 hours per week. You will receive 1:1 mentorship from a full-time Amazonian throughout your program tenure, ensuring you have the support you need to succeed.
