You have a Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and you bring proven experience in delivering high-quality software products with clear project plans and timelines. With a deep understanding of full-stack software development, you have experience leading both backend and front-end engineers, enabling productivity and velocity within your team. You excel in collaborating with cross-functional partners and dependent teams to drive alignment and execution of projects, ensuring that the engineering team delivers product features that have measurable impact.
You are skilled in managing the performance of individual engineers, providing coaching and real-time feedback to help them grow. Your technical decision-making is informed by a clear view of trade-offs, and you are adept at driving the right technical decisions for your team. You have experience in building large-scale customer-facing products and are familiar with microservice architectures and distributed storage systems, which are essential for the success of the Hailables team.
Experience in the ridesharing industry or similar sectors would be a bonus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices. You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can mentor and guide your team.
