Overview

Checkr is seeking a Senior Manager of Account Management to lead a team focused on retaining and growing their commercial customer base. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills to drive revenue execution and manage a large portfolio of business.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in account management or a related field, demonstrating a strong ability to lead teams and drive customer success. Your background includes managing a significant portfolio of clients, where you've successfully retained and expanded business through strategic initiatives and effective coaching. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey customer feedback to product development. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform decisions and improve team performance. Your leadership style emphasizes operational rigor and high-leverage coaching, ensuring your team consistently meets and exceeds revenue targets.

Desirable

Experience in a technology or SaaS environment is a plus, as is familiarity with customer success metrics and revenue growth strategies. You are comfortable negotiating commercial terms and have a track record of achieving renewal and expansion goals. A background in working closely with product teams to align customer needs with product roadmaps will set you apart.

What you'll do

As the Senior Manager of Account Management at Checkr, you will lead a team of experienced Account Managers, focusing on retaining and growing our commercial customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue execution and unit economics, ensuring that your team meets its renewal and growth targets. You will coach your team to negotiate contracts that reflect the exceptional value we provide to our customers. Collaboration with Customer Success leadership will be essential to create a unified account team approach, enhancing the overall customer experience. You will also work closely with product teams to ensure that customer feedback informs our product roadmap, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

In this role, you will oversee a significant volume of renewal and expansion opportunities, requiring you to manage a large portfolio of business effectively. You will implement processes and strategies that enhance team performance and customer satisfaction. Regularly analyzing data and metrics will be crucial to identify areas for improvement and to celebrate successes. You will foster a culture of accountability and high performance within your team, ensuring that each member is equipped to succeed and contribute to our mission of building trusted workplaces and communities.
