Motional is seeking a Remote Vehicle Assistance Agent to monitor and assist autonomous vehicles in real-time. You'll work with proprietary software tools to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operations. This role is ideal for individuals interested in the intersection of technology and transportation.

Experience or interest in autonomous vehicles or technology is a plus, as is familiarity with software tools used for monitoring and assistance. A background in customer service or operations can also be beneficial, as you will be interacting with various teams and systems.
As a Remote Vehicle Assistance Agent, you will monitor Motional's autonomous vehicles operating on both closed courses and public roads. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the decision-making processes of the vehicles when they encounter real-world events. You will ensure that the vehicles are functioning properly by monitoring camera feeds and AV systems. In real-time, you will provide support to the vehicles, assisting with direction and safety of travel. You will work closely with engineering teams to test systems and new scenarios, ensuring that all functionalities are performing as expected. Additionally, you will interact with the AV to resolve any tickets or issues that arise, reporting system functionality issues to management promptly.
