Anthropic is seeking a Strategic Account Executive focused on Retail & Commercial Banking to drive the adoption of AI solutions in the banking sector. You'll leverage your consultative sales expertise to secure strategic enterprise deals. This role requires strong knowledge of the banking industry and sales strategies.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the banking sector, and possess a deep understanding of retail and commercial banking operations. Your consultative sales approach allows you to build strong relationships with stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures to reach decision-makers. You are adept at designing and executing tailored sales strategies that align with the unique procurement dynamics of the banking industry.
Your experience includes managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, demonstrating your ability to win new business and drive revenue growth. You are comfortable working in highly regulated environments and understand the challenges and opportunities that come with deploying AI solutions in customer-facing roles. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, policy, and marketing, to shape the approach to this high-volume vertical.
Experience in AI or technology sales is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest trends in AI deployment within the banking sector. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for operational efficiency and enhanced customer experience through AI solutions.
In this role, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing deals with regional and national banks, credit unions, and commercial lenders. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of Anthropic's AI solutions, particularly Claude, across various banking institutions. Your role will involve navigating organizational structures to reach key decision-makers across lines of business, operations, technology, and innovation teams.
You will design and execute sales strategies that are tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring that you address their specific challenges and objectives. Collaborating closely with the go-to-market, product, policy, and marketing teams, you will help define how AI can enhance operational efficiency and customer experience in banking.
Your responsibilities will also include building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner as they navigate the complexities of AI deployment in their organizations. You will leverage your sector knowledge and consultative sales expertise to secure strategic enterprise deals that drive revenue growth for Anthropic.
