Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, UX Research Tooling

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development across various programming languages. Your expertise includes 3 years of full stack development, where you've worked with back-end technologies such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++, and front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. You have a solid understanding of software design and architecture, and you've tested, maintained, or launched software products for at least 3 years. Additionally, you possess experience with data structures and algorithms, and you are comfortable collaborating with UX researchers and stakeholders to identify and solve ambiguous problems.

You are familiar with front-end web technologies and have experience working with reasonably large React or Angular codebases. Your background includes working with engineering artifacts such as reliability monitoring, security practices, and documentation. You are adept at communicating effectively with other software developers and stakeholders at various levels, including managers and junior staff. You thrive in environments where you can bring fresh ideas from diverse areas, including information retrieval and large-scale system design.

Desirable

A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field would be a plus. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and App Engine is also preferred, as is familiarity with production hygiene and support processes.
