Convene is seeking a Head of Food to lead culinary innovation and excellence across the UK. You'll collaborate with global teams to develop UK-specific menus and foster a positive kitchen culture. This role requires a visionary culinary leader with a strategic mindset.

You have experience collaborating with global culinary teams to envision and develop new menu concepts. Your expertise allows you to adapt these concepts to generate UK-specific menus, leveraging local ingredients and suppliers while catering to the distinct preferences of the British market. You understand the importance of operational excellence and uphold the highest food standards in every kitchen you oversee.
Your leadership skills are complemented by your ability to cultivate a collaborative and high-performing kitchen culture. In this role, you will set the standard for culinary excellence across all Convene kitchens in the UK. You will lead the adaptation of global menu concepts to suit local tastes, ensuring that every dish reflects the quality and creativity that Convene is known for. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the US-based Sr. Director of Food & Beverage to drive and scale the culinary program globally, ensuring alignment with the overarching culinary vision.
You will provide hands-on leadership to kitchen teams, establishing and upholding the highest food standards. Your role will involve cultivating a positive kitchen culture where staff are motivated and committed to excellence. You will oversee the operational aspects of the kitchens, ensuring that all processes are efficient and that the quality of food remains consistently high.
Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage with community initiatives, promoting a culture of giving back and inclusivity within the culinary team.
