Reddit is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead the internal communications strategy for the Global Sales Organization. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to enhance productivity across teams.
You have a proven track record in internal communications, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a high-growth environment. Your ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders is key — you understand the nuances of communicating effectively across diverse teams and functions. You are adept at crafting messages that resonate with employees, ensuring alignment with company goals and culture. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute communication plans that inspire and inform, driving engagement and understanding within the organization.
You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with senior leadership, particularly within the Global Sales Organization. Your experience in managing cross-functional communications will enable you to serve as a trusted advisor to the EVP of Advertising Sales. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and can distill intricate information into clear, actionable insights for employees. You possess excellent writing and presentation skills, allowing you to convey messages effectively across various platforms.
Experience in a technology or media company is a plus, as is familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in the digital landscape. You are proactive in seeking feedback and continuously improving communication strategies based on employee input and engagement metrics. A background in marketing or public relations can enhance your ability to craft compelling narratives that align with Reddit's mission and values.
In this role, you will spearhead the internal communications strategy for Reddit's Global Sales Organization, ensuring that all communications are aligned with the company's vision and objectives. You will develop and implement communication plans that enhance understanding of sales strategies, goals, and priorities among employees. Your efforts will focus on building belief in Reddit's mission and culture, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with the Head of Internal Communications and other key stakeholders to create engaging content that informs and inspires employees. This includes crafting messages for town halls, newsletters, and internal announcements, as well as managing the flow of information across various channels. You will also play a critical role in measuring the effectiveness of communication initiatives, using data to refine strategies and improve engagement.
Your ability to align communications with business objectives will be essential in driving productivity within the Global Sales Organization.
