Experience with AI-powered tools and platforms is a plus, as is a background in service-based industries. You have a portfolio that showcases your design leadership and the impact of your work on product experiences. You are familiar with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD and have a keen eye for detail.

What you'll do

As the Head of Design, you will lead HoneyBook’s Product Design team, shaping the vision and operational approach for product design across the platform. You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer to define the strategy for enhancing user experiences through design. Your role will involve guiding a high-performing team of designers and design managers, ensuring that the solutions developed are not only functional but also delightful and intuitive for users. You will foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the design team, encouraging feedback and ownership among team members.

You will be responsible for overseeing the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that the team adheres to best practices in UX design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to align design efforts with business goals and user needs. Your leadership will help to establish design standards and guidelines that enhance the overall product experience. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing the skills of your team members, helping them to grow in their careers.
