SpaceX is hiring a PCBA Production Technician to operate PCB assembly machines and conduct testing of electronic hardware. You'll work with technologies like Altium Designer and Embedded Linux in Redmond, WA.
You are a detail-oriented technician with experience in PCB assembly and electronic hardware testing. You have a strong understanding of operating PCB assembly machines and are familiar with processes such as SMT placement and reflow. Your ability to document failure modes and use data to improve quality is essential. You are proactive in managing your schedule and executing work independently to meet company deliverables. You are comfortable with component kitting and measurement, ensuring that production equipment is maintained and calibrated through scheduled preventative maintenance.
In this role, you will operate various PCB assembly machines to manufacture circuit boards, including tasks like SMT placement, reflow, and paste printing. You will run thermal and functional testing of electronic hardware, which involves setting up instrumentation, executing tests, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Your responsibilities will also include documenting failure modes thoroughly and using this data to continually improve the quality of the production process. You will manage your schedule priorities effectively and work independently to meet the company's deliverables, ensuring that production equipment is maintained and calibrated as needed.
