Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Corporate Business Development (CorpBD) Programs team. This role operates at the highest level of executive engagement, requiring exceptional ability to orchestrate meaningful CEO-to-CEO interactions. You will develop meeting strategies, prepare briefing materials, and ensure productive dialogue between Amazon’s senior executives and our largest corporate partners. Success in this role demands deep understanding of C-suite dynamics and the ability to facilitate productive conversations between senior leaders.

This role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of Amazon. You will need to work collaboratively with internal stakeholder teams to understand where our relative advantages/risks lie and current trends around innovation, consolidation, and customer adoption. We dive deep and provide thoughtful and clear analysis, but are adaptable and action-oriented, focused on quickly gaining enough context to enable informed decision-making and effective meeting strategies that allow Amazon to put its best foot forward.

We are seeking an innovative, creative, analytical, technical and strategic thinker who is passionate about Amazon’s growth and the business segments in which we operate. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker who enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with senior cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. CorpBD is a small, tight-knit team who values authentic, strong-willed individuals that think creatively and will proactively seek out opportunities to advance the growth initiatives of Amazon’s businesses.

Your ability to build relationships internally will be critical, as will be your resourcefulness, your analytical skills, and your grit.

Key job responsibilities
Working with executive level stakeholders across AWS, Stores, Devices and Services, Prime Video and other Amazon Business units to prepare for effective CEO to CEO discussions.

Managing engagement strategy for CEO events, including Allen and Company Sun Valley and the World Economic Forum

Directly authoring strategy briefings and supporting the upleveling of strategy briefings authored by other teams

Leveraging AI tools to automate aspects of executive briefing development in order to focus on the highest value actions.

Building tools and process to lead post meeting actions and event tracking

Supporting executive Q&A, including working across Amazon to facilitate answers to executive Q&A

Building frameworks to support meeting nomination and prioritization. - Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of Business Development, Consulting, or Executive Engagement experience- MBA
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of C-suite level engagement and executive relationship management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
