Handshake is seeking Procurement Clerks to contribute to an AI training project. You'll evaluate AI model outputs and provide feedback based on your professional experience. No prior AI experience is required.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in procurement or a related field, which equips you with the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background includes managing procurement processes, tracking requisitions, contracts, and orders, and preparing purchase orders. You understand compliance with organizational and governmental purchasing rules and maintain accurate purchasing records. You are comfortable working independently and can adapt to flexible hours, averaging between 5 to 20 hours per week. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the development of AI in your field, even if you have no prior experience with AI technologies.
In this role, you will leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and assess content related to your field of work. You will develop prompts for AI models that reflect your expertise and evaluate the responses generated by these models. Your feedback will be crucial in strengthening the model's understanding of workplace tasks and language. The position is remote and asynchronous, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. You will have the opportunity to participate in various projects as they become available, contributing to a year-round AI research initiative.
