Job Description

Amazon Advertising is building a world class customer centric advertising business at Amazon. To enable this vision, Art19, an industry leader in podcasting technology, is building a rapidly growing programmatic ads business and Publisher Technology (PubTech) team is building technology to enable all Amazon publishers (e.g. Prime Video, FireTV, TNF) to maximize revenue potential of their ads supply. Together they represent a unique opportunity to work in a fast-growing business and help us make data drive decisions.

Amazon Ads seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to be a key member in our finance team focused on supporting ART19 and PubTech businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative and fast-growing businesses of Amazon in a role where you will be an integral part of building the financial processes.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong financial operations experience, a keen attention to detail, and the vision to evolve processes to meet the needs of a quickly developing business. The role requires regular interaction with various business teams in the advertising, technology, and business development areas, as well as cross functional accounting and finance teams.


Key job responsibilities
- Finance operations for ART19 and preparation and analysis of month end financial statements
- Support for forecasting and budgeting processes for Art19
- Develop and evolve scalable finance and accounting processes to grow with and support business goals
- Prepare and issue monthly podcast publisher billing and revenue share payment processes
- Support treasury processes related to podcaster payments for Art19
- Development, analysis, and distribution of KPIs for Art19 and Publisher Tech businesses
- Assist in the development of financial models for the ART19 business and podcast deal evaluation- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- MBA, or CPA
- Advanced knowledge of Excel for modeling and reporting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
