Esri is seeking a Contract Specialist to interact with global vendors and support the procurement and sales process. You'll review, draft, and negotiate various agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies. This role requires 2+ years of experience in contract negotiation.
You have at least 2 years of experience negotiating and drafting agreements, showcasing your strong written and verbal communication skills. Your attention to detail allows you to capture the nuances of deals effectively, ensuring that they align with Esri's business needs and sales goals. You are adept at building relationships and mitigating risks, which are essential skills in protecting Esri's intellectual property. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with contracts negotiators and attorneys to support a customer-focused philosophy. Your proactive approach enables you to prioritize assignments and drive resolution, growth, and process improvement.
In this role, you will review, draft, and negotiate cloud, software, and procurement agreements, ensuring they meet both internal and external requirements. You will respond promptly to contract work requests, providing quality, customer-focused support to both internal and external customers and suppliers. Collaborating with multiple Esri business teams, you will ensure that contract terms align with the company's business, financial, and risk management objectives. You will consistently anticipate potential contractual risks and propose effective mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to streamline negotiations and educate customers, suppliers, and colleagues on best practices. Maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations will be a key aspect of your role.
