Who you are

You have a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly in incident response and forensics. With at least 5 years of experience, you've successfully managed tactical incident response scenarios and have a deep understanding of threat actor behaviors. Your analytical skills allow you to review lower-confidence signals effectively, ensuring that you can assist customers in exiting critical intrusions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a dedicated team to enhance security measures and protect businesses from cyber threats.

You are passionate about cybersecurity and understand the importance of proactive measures in protecting organizations. Your experience includes working with Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and you are familiar with the tools and techniques used in the industry. You are a problem solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges and finding innovative solutions to enhance security protocols.

Desirable

Experience with various cybersecurity tools and platforms is a plus. Familiarity with threat hunting methodologies and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will set you apart. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in the cybersecurity landscape.

What you'll do

As a Senior Tactical Response Analyst at Huntress, you will be at the forefront of cybersecurity, working to identify and mitigate threats to our customers. You will collaborate closely with our 24x7 Security Operations Center team, leveraging your expertise to manage tactical incident response scenarios. Your role will involve reviewing lower-confidence signals and determining the best course of action to assist customers in exiting critical intrusions.

You will have the opportunity to flex your incident response and forensics skills, working on real-world scenarios that impact our clients directly. Your contributions will help shape the security landscape for businesses, ensuring they are equipped to handle potential threats effectively. We provide a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $145,000 to $165,000, plus bonuses and equity.
