You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. You are polite and courteous, capable of interacting with guests and staff in a professional manner. You understand the importance of maintaining service reliability and are willing to learn how to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently. You are organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that storage and staging areas are compliant and tidy. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with culinary, café, and facilities teams to anticipate needs and prevent shortages.

What you'll do

As a Porter at SpaceX, you will support daily operational logistics, including delivery receiving, restocking, and internal distribution of supplies. You will conduct daily checks of water jug stations, soda bibs, and CO₂ systems to maintain uptime and service reliability. You will fulfill and deliver requisitions accurately, ensuring communication and documentation via internal systems and team channels. Assisting with weekly inventory counts and ordering cycles will be part of your responsibilities to support production and service schedules. You will verify product quality, expiration, and invoice accuracy during receiving and escalate discrepancies as needed. Once trained, you will operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently. You will maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage and staging areas while collaborating cross-functionally with culinary, café, and facilities teams to anticipate needs and prevent shortages. Additionally, you will support special projects or operational setups as assigned by site leadership.
