You have a passion for redefining financial paradigms and making complex concepts accessible and relatable to a broad audience. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a collaborative mindset that fosters creativity and innovation. You are eager to push design boundaries, exploring new territories through emerging technologies like AI.

Desirable

Experience with financial products or services is a plus, as is familiarity with user research methodologies. You may have a portfolio that showcases your ability to create compelling visual narratives and user experiences. A background in working with agile teams and an understanding of the product development lifecycle will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the visual expression of the Afterpay product, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for translating complex financial concepts into intuitive designs that empower users to manage their money effectively. Your work will involve conducting user research to understand user needs and pain points, iterating on designs based on feedback, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment on design goals. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior designers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of design excellence within the team.
