You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) global practice, which focuses on the incubation of early career professionals.
Our team members work with enterprise customers locally, regionally, domestically, and internationally. As such, this role has up to 75% travel associated.
Key job responsibilities
Our Associate Security Consultants will deliver architecture guidance, proof-of-concept projects, and customer/partner workshops. AWS consultants collaborate with customers and partners to address the security, risk, and compliance needs of their AWS migrations. This role will specialize in all aspects of information security management as well as business and regulatory compliance using cloud services in large-scale computing environments.
A day in the life
AWS Security Assurance Services LLC, a PCI-QSAC (Payment Card Industry-Qualified Security Assessor company) and HITRUST External Assessor Firm, is a team of industry certified assessors, helping our customers achieve, maintain, and automate compliance in the cloud by tying together applicable audit standards to AWS service specific features and functionality.

- Hands-on experience in security architecture, automation, implementation, integration and deployment
- Strong scripting skills, eg. Python, Node.js, Javascript, PowerShell, Bash, etc- Implementation experience with AWS services
- Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
- Implementation experience with enterprise security packages identity management and federation systems
- Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code and deploying infrastructure in code

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $192,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
