Overview

Amazon is hiring a Senior Program Manager for the RBS Cross Border Program to lead country management efforts in non-footprint countries. You'll be responsible for P&L management and driving profitable growth through collaboration across various teams. This role requires strong business acumen and operational rigor.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in program management with a focus on business performance — your experience includes owning P&L for multiple regions and driving growth strategies that balance profitability with customer satisfaction. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with logistics, marketing, product, legal, and finance teams to achieve business objectives. Your analytical skills allow you to monitor key performance indicators and diagnose operational challenges effectively.

You possess a deep understanding of customer experience and are committed to enhancing it through strategic initiatives — you have a track record of implementing solutions that simplify processes and improve service delivery. Your ability to navigate complex environments and manage multiple stakeholders is a key strength, enabling you to drive results in challenging situations.

You are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment — your proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making has led to successful outcomes in previous roles. You are comfortable with data analysis and use insights to inform your strategies and actions.

Desirable

Experience in e-commerce or cross-border trade is a plus — familiarity with customs processes and international logistics will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new concepts and practices that can benefit the business.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end P&L management for assigned non-footprint countries, ensuring that growth targets are met while maintaining profitability. You will develop and implement local strategies that align with Amazon's global objectives, focusing on optimizing selection eligibility and margin through effective management of operational levers.

You will collaborate with various teams to drive initiatives that enhance the customer experience — this includes working closely with logistics to streamline delivery processes and with marketing to ensure that local strategies resonate with customers. Your role will involve monitoring shipping costs and customs processes to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.

You will be responsible for diagnosing key inputs and making data-driven decisions that impact business performance — your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions that drive efficiency. You will also play a key role in building relationships with local stakeholders and partners to support the growth of the cross-border business.

What we offer

At Amazon, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to transforming the cross-border shopping experience for customers. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to work on impactful projects that shape the future of e-commerce and contribute to Amazon's mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company.

Join us in this exciting journey as we expand our reach into new markets and enhance the shopping experience for customers around the world. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your unique perspective and skills could be a great fit for our team.
