Senior Financial Analyst

Our vertically integrated Bitcoin ecosystem includes the Liquid Network sidechain, Core Lightning implementation, enterprise custody solutions (ECS), consumer hardware wallets (Jade), and asset management services. With three distinct business units—Consumer Products and Enterprise Solutions—we're preparing for Series D funding and potential public markets while maintaining our position as "The Switzerland of Bitcoin." 

The Finance team at Blockstream plays an integral part in scaling the world's leading Bitcoin infrastructure company. We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team with a key role in driving financial strategy across our Consumer Products, and, Enterprise Solutions divisions. 

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Blockstream, you will partner with business leaders across the company to drive strategic decision-making through financial insights and analysis. You'll work with leaders across the company, using your financial insights and analysis to help them make better decisions. What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

• Build and automate data pipelines and analyses using SQL and Python to extract insights from large, complex datasets, incorporating both on-chain and traditional financial data.
• Lead financial forecasting, planning, and reporting across all business units with CPG, Enterprise SaaS, and Bitcoin-native metrics.
• Own budgeting process and rolling forecasts incorporating on-chain data and traditional financials.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, rolling cashflow, fundraising, and strategic M&A initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Development to analyze ROI on infrastructure investments.
• Drive monthly business reviews with the executive team, translating blockchain metrics into actionable insights.
• Support board materials and investor reporting with compelling narratives around unit economics and KPIs.
• Develop pricing strategies for crypto services, consumer products, tokenization, and multi-signature custody solutions.

What We Look For in You (Required Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer/Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4-7+ years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python is required for data manipulation, automation, and analysis across the fintech stack.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling; adept at building complex, dynamic models and handling large datasets.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Strong expertise in SaaS metrics, unit economics, and hardware product lifecycles.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex analyses and influence senior leadership.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience prompting GPTs & LLMs to work with automation applications (n8n, Zapier), and AI agent creation (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok).
• MBA or CFA certification.
• Understanding of Bitcoin fundamentals and cryptocurrency markets.
• Experience with multi-product technology companies or financial services.
• Prior experience at Bitcoin/crypto companies or high-growth fintech.
• Experience with hardware/software/crypto hybrid business models.
• Background in Series C+ or pre-IPO companies.

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000 USD, depending on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, full-time Blockstream employees receive: Target equity grants and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).

Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week in the office.
