What you'll do

In this role, you will own the architecture and evolution of the backend systems that power Hims & Hers' e-commerce and subscription services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the technical vision and ensure that the platform scales reliably and securely as the business grows. You will design and build key components of the platform, setting standards for distributed systems excellence. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, establishing best practices, and ensuring that the team adheres to high-quality coding standards. You will also work closely with product management and other stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives, ensuring that the platform meets customer needs effectively. As a hands-on leader, you will actively participate in coding and troubleshooting, guiding your team through complex technical challenges. You will foster a culture of learning and development, providing mentorship and support to senior engineers as they tackle new projects and technologies.
