Tanium is seeking an Internal Communications Intern to support the Internal and Executive Communications team. You'll write and edit communications while collaborating cross-functionally. This role is ideal for strong writers and creative thinkers.
You are a detail-oriented and organized individual with a knack for writing and editing both short and long-form communications. You possess the ability to distill complex information into clear and digestible summaries, making it easy for team members to stay informed and engaged. While previous experience in tech, IT, or cybersecurity is not required, you understand the importance of aligning communications with the company's mission, vision, values, and corporate objectives. You are a creative thinker who is eager to propose new ideas and collaborate with team members across various functions.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Internal & Executive Communications and play a key part in ensuring that team members have access to the latest information across key internal channels. You will be responsible for writing and editing communications that reflect Tanium's strategic objectives. Your creativity will be essential as you propose new ideas to enhance internal communications. You will collaborate cross-functionally, working closely with various teams to ensure that all communications are clear, connected, and purpose-driven. Your contributions will help unify and empower team members, fostering a culture of engagement and connection within the organization.
Tanium offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work from home while also requiring in-person attendance several days a week in one of our offices located in Bellevue, WA, Emeryville, CA, Durham, NC, or Addison, TX. As an intern, you will receive an hourly rate ranging from $25 to $27, providing you with valuable experience in the field of internal communications.
