Who you are

You are a skilled AI Engineer with a passion for working directly with customers and a strong interest in the latest trends in Generative AI (GenAI), LLMOps, and machine learning (ML). You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy being part of a specialized team that focuses on delivering innovative AI solutions. Your unique specialization contributes to the overall strength of the team, and you are eager to fuel your curiosity and expand your knowledge in the AI field.

You have experience in building and productionizing AI applications, and you are comfortable serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers across various domains. You are recognized as a thought leader and are excited about the opportunity to present at conferences such as the Data + AI Summit. You understand the importance of cross-functional collaboration and are ready to influence product priorities and shape the roadmap alongside engineering and product teams.

Desirable

Experience with customer-facing roles and a strong understanding of AI technologies will set you apart. If you have a background in professional services or consulting, that would be a plus. You are adaptable and open to learning new techniques and methodologies in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

What you'll do

As an AI Engineer - FDE at Databricks, you will be part of a highly specialized team dedicated to delivering professional services engagements. Your primary responsibility will be to help customers build and productionize first-of-its-kind AI applications, leveraging the latest techniques from our Mosaic AI research. You will own the production rollouts of both consumer-facing and internal GenAI applications, ensuring they meet customer needs and expectations.

You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to influence strategic priorities and shape the product roadmap. Your role will involve presenting at industry conferences, where you will share insights and establish yourself as a thought leader in the AI space. You will also engage with customers to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions that drive value.
