As a Senior Product Designer at Databricks, you will own the end-to-end design of the Lakeflow Connect ingestion experience. This includes defining how users discover, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot their data ingestion pipelines. You will create experiences that cater to both data engineers needing granular control and business analysts seeking ready-to-use data. Your work will shape the first impressions and ongoing trust for thousands of organizations using Lakeflow Connect. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams in Seattle and San Francisco to ensure a cohesive user experience across the data engineering journey.
You will define AI-native data ingestion by integrating Databricks Assistant into the pipeline, enhancing user interactions and streamlining workflows. Your role will involve conducting user research, usability testing, and iterating on designs based on feedback to ensure that the final product meets user needs effectively. You will also be responsible for creating design specifications and collaborating with developers to ensure that your designs are implemented accurately.
