Amazon ships millions of packages every day, from hundreds of origins to hundreds of destinations. In this role, your goal is to extract the most important insights out of those package flows and extract the most important findings to our most senior leaders.
You will answer questions like "Where do we spend too much?", or "Where are we too slow?", or "Where do we have inefficient, carbon-intensive routes?".
You will lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and Program Managers (with strong analytical/technical skills) to answer these questions, build automations and self-service tools for internal customers, and help business leaders drive decisions and projects forward on a global scale, from inception to implementation.
Here's why you will love working with us:
- You'll get a view behind the scenes of the world's most impressive transportation network
- You will take ownership of real problems with big impact (we measure impact in the 10s of million $), driving them from conception to completion
- You'll learn and grow rapidly, developing skills that will propel your career forward
- You'll collaborate with a team of innovative thinkers and experts in their field, always pushing boundaries
- You'll use technology and advanced analytics to solve complex, real-world problems
- You'll contribute directly to a mission that affects millions of customers worldwide
- You'll be able to explore new areas when the upside is large enough (we define our own destiny)
- Amazon's data will be your playground
