Dropbox is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead media collaboration workflows and drive product strategy. You'll work closely with engineering and design teams to define key metrics and influence product decisions. This role requires 10+ years of product management experience.
You have over 10 years of product management experience, having successfully owned and driven major product initiatives from conception to launch. Your strong analytical skills enable you to define and measure key metrics that drive product success, ensuring that every decision is data-informed. You excel at collaborating across multiple teams, influencing stakeholders without direct authority, and have a proven track record in planning and forecasting product strategies. Your excellent communication skills allow you to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You are familiar with the technical aspects of media platforms and engineering processes, which helps you bridge the gap between product and engineering teams. Your experience in high-growth technology companies has equipped you with the business acumen and strategic thinking necessary to navigate fast-paced environments. You have a passion for mentoring and influencing other product managers, helping to elevate the entire team's performance.
Experience in media workflows or collaboration tools is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies and user-centered design principles. You thrive in environments where you can lead cross-functional initiatives and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
In this role, you will own and drive the end-to-end product roadmap for media collaboration workflows, including Dropbox Replay. You will define, track, and analyze key product metrics to measure success and inform strategic decisions. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and business teams, you will align on goals and deliverables to ensure that product initiatives meet business objectives.
You will lead planning and forecasting efforts, ensuring that product initiatives are strategically aligned with the company's goals. Your ability to evaluate product performance and iterate on features based on data-driven insights will be crucial in driving product success. You will also mentor and influence other product managers and cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
