Amazon is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead the executive talent strategy for its Entertainment business. You'll work closely with senior executives and require strong business acumen and executive coaching expertise. This role is pivotal in shaping the future workforce in a rapidly evolving industry.
You are an experienced HR professional with a strong background in executive talent strategy — you have a proven track record of working with senior executives and understand the nuances of talent development in a complex business environment. Your expertise in organization design and executive coaching allows you to influence and guide leaders effectively, ensuring that talent processes align with business needs.
You thrive in ambiguous situations and are comfortable navigating challenges with little direction — your ability to solve complex organizational problems is complemented by your excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are confident in presenting to C-suite leaders and facilitating discussions that drive strategic decisions.
With a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, particularly as an HR Business Partner, you have developed a keen business acumen that enables you to align talent strategies with organizational goals. You are adept at project management, ensuring that initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.
Experience in the entertainment industry or a similar creative field would be a plus — you understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with talent management in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Familiarity with AI and workforce transformation trends will enhance your ability to contribute to Amazon's strategic vision.
In this role, you will architect the executive talent strategy for Amazon Entertainment, working closely with senior executives to shape the future workforce. You will evaluate and assess existing talent processes, ensuring they meet the unique needs of the Entertainment business. Your creativity will be essential in designing and managing process execution that aligns with Amazon's core talent activities.
You will lead initiatives that focus on talent evaluation, promotions, and annual talent reviews, adapting these processes to fit the dynamic landscape of the entertainment industry. Your role will involve regular presentations to executive leaders, where you will facilitate discussions and debates that influence strategic talent decisions.
Collaboration is key in this position — you will partner with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure that talent strategies are integrated into broader business objectives. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring and coaching leaders, helping them navigate their own talent challenges and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $125,800 to $170,200 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and wellness programs, retirement savings plans, and generous paid time off. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation and creativity, contributing to projects that shape the future of entertainment.
Join a team that is committed to developing talent and driving organizational success — your contributions will have a lasting impact on how Amazon Entertainment evolves in the coming years. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
