Principal, Financial Planning and Analysis (Capex Finance)

Who you are

You have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, particularly in capital expenditure management. With at least 5 years of experience, you understand how to evaluate investment opportunities using financial metrics such as NPV, IRR, and Payback Period. Your analytical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

You are proficient in advanced Excel, capable of handling large datasets and performing detailed financial modeling. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop annual Capex investment plans and monitoring project budgets to prevent cost overruns. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working directly with executives to influence strategic decisions.

You possess a proactive mindset, always looking for ways to optimize financial processes and improve reporting accuracy. Your ability to analyze data and forecast trends allows you to provide valuable insights that drive business growth. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, ensuring that financial strategies align with the company's overall objectives.

Desirable

Experience in e-commerce or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. You are adaptable and open to learning new financial systems and technologies that can enhance your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the company's Capex budget, ensuring it aligns with financial conditions and strategic goals. You will monitor project budgets closely, providing solutions to prevent cost overruns and conducting cost-benefit analyses to evaluate investment opportunities. Collaborating with various departments, you will help establish annual Capex investment plans and support month-end and year-end closing processes, including PO reviews and accounting treatments.

You will present key analysis results to executives, ensuring that complex financial concepts are communicated clearly and effectively. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, FP&A teams, and logistics finance teams to deliver accurate reporting and insights. You will participate in quarterly investment reviews and contribute to the development of Capex strategies that support the company's growth.
