Motorway is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to build strong relationships with key dealer partners and help them grow their businesses using Motorway's products and services. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset.
You have a proven track record in account management, ideally within the automotive or technology sectors — your experience has equipped you with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives. You understand the importance of tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring their success and satisfaction with the services provided. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to clearly articulate value propositions and foster trust with partners. You are results-driven, with a focus on achieving sales growth targets and driving commercial commitments from dealers. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams to relay feedback and insights that shape product offerings.
Experience in the automotive industry or a similar marketplace would be a significant advantage — you understand the unique challenges and opportunities within this sector. Familiarity with sales growth strategies and account management best practices will set you apart as a candidate. A background in using data to inform decision-making and strategy development is also beneficial.
In this role, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with senior executives at the UK’s largest dealerships — your goal is to help them grow profitably using Motorway’s innovative products and services. You will clearly explain the Motorway value proposition, ensuring it is tailored to each dealership’s specific needs. Achieving sales growth targets will be a key focus, as you work to get dealers commercially committed to Motorway. You will introduce additional products and services, such as Motorway Pay and Motorway Move, to enhance dealers’ sales growth. Acting as the “voice of the dealer” within Motorway, you will share valuable insights that inform both product development and strategic direction.
