You have over 8 years of experience in a consulting or customer-facing role, working closely with external clients across various industries. Your core strength lies in either data engineering or data science technologies, making you a valuable asset in guiding clients through complex technical evaluations. You possess a deep understanding of big data analytics and are well-versed in the architecture and design aspects of data solutions. Your hands-on experience with Apache Spark programming allows you to effectively integrate Databricks into customer ecosystems, ensuring they achieve tangible outcomes.

You are a natural leader, capable of forming successful relationships with clients and advocating for their needs within your organization. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner enables you to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative environments, where you can lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to share your expertise with the technical community.

Desirable

Experience with public cloud platforms and familiarity with third-party application integrations will set you apart. A background in authoring reference architectures and demo applications is highly desirable, as it showcases your ability to provide comprehensive support to clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will guide the technical evaluation phase throughout the sales process, acting as a technical advisor to the sales team. You will work closely with the product team to advocate for your customers, ensuring their needs are met while leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Your responsibilities will include helping data teams complete projects and integrate our platform into their enterprise ecosystems.

You will lead clients through the evaluation and adoption of Databricks, providing hands-on support with Apache Spark programming and integration with the wider cloud ecosystem. By authoring reference architectures and how-to guides, you will empower customers to maximize the value of their data solutions. Your role will also involve engaging with the technical community, where you will lead workshops and seminars to share best practices and insights.

As you build relationships with clients, you will provide both technical and business value, ensuring they achieve their data-driven goals. Your expertise in big data analytics will be crucial as you help clients navigate their biggest challenges in data engineering and data science.
